Girls Gone WoW – Show 195: Keeping busy

This week Marie is back and we’re talking about what we’re up to at this stage of the expansion. Lots of idea here for how to keep busy, just skip over the ‘writing off your car at 5 mph’ approach that Raven chose, ok?

Our Blizzcon Sunday Lunch event can be found here: Do join us if you’re in London!

You can find Marie @mbhutz on twitter.

Next week: Roxiq will be joining us to talk all about twitter and WoW. Let us have your thoughts on how it enhances your gaming experience.

One Shotting Procrastination: Your To-Do List Before the Expansion

I used to have a bucket-list for my previous main on the alliance side. And though I still dearly love my nelf druid and my hottie dreanai mage, I need to focus mostly on my priest right now.

I am still very hesitant about playing a priest. It feels very unlike me, if that makes any sense. She’s short for one, which is so different from my other characters and she is a full on healer. Now my druid was too, however it felt so much more…. Mmm how to explain… nature based instead of ‘look at me I’m throwing the light at you’. I guess deep down I’m still a damned tree-hugging hippie. *grins*

However, after getting some great advice on how to roleplay my goblin I am actually starting to love her personality and I think this could be a very long friendship in the end.

So my bucket list for the next expansion will be:

–          Get her to level cap

–          Get all the mounts and pets I can get my greedy, little hands on

–          Pvp and be good at it!

–          Run dungeons!

–          Try the LFR tool and not give up after one horrible raid

–          Try to finish ‘What a long strange trip’ on my goblin (this will at least be another year’s work)

–          Level some more hordies in the meantime and learn more about the lore.

After doing some of the horde sided quest in STV I have to say that I’m absolutely in love again with the game. The story was really good and it dragged me in so much that I refused to leave the area until I’ve seen it all. Even if I was outlevelling the quests. Now in my opinion, that’s what a good game should do.

So being horde for the future has been a smart decision for me and I’m in love with the game I’ve been playing for 7 years now.

Does anyone else have a bucket list and want to share them? Let me know, since I’m really curious and need more idea’s!
